Powering an Island Grid

As the sole source of electrical power, securing continued service, worker safety and protection of assets all encompass being a dependable service for the island of Oahu. Security is a main player into achieving their goals. 

• Goal: To be a dependable service for the island of Oahu by: 1. Providing power and energy to an entire community (healthcare, homes, school, military, law enforcement, entire community) 2. Protecting assets. 3. Finding portable security platforms that can be moved as needed anywhere on the island. 
• Security: Moveable E3 units with 360 degree viewing powered by solar and utilizing mobile data to relay reporting. Units were transferred around the island by staff to  power plants, substations, and random sites with security operations.
• Results: Moving the systems allowed for ability to manage organization priorities, construction, and identify weaknesses in product delivery.
